THIS WORLD:A MARKET PLACE!
(Dust to Dust / Ashes to Ashes)
The word of God in Genesis 2:7 clearly states, “The Lord God formed (that is, created the body of) man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being (an individual complete in body and spirit). Genesis 3:19 confirms, “By the sweat of your face, you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for from it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”
There is no doubt! This world is a market place! Everyone comes to the market either to buy or sell. When the market time is over, everyone goes back home. Some leave early, some leave later but all return home at one time or the other. Whether or not you are doing well in life, you must go home one day. What preparations are you making for your return home? In case you are doing well in life, consider this: the Bible asks, "For what shall it profit a man,(a woman, a boy or a girl) to gain the whole world, and lose his or her soul?" Matthew 16:26.
Look at this pathetic story: A young man sold his precious soul to the devil for money. He joined secret cult. Indeed, he got so much, but he did not have many years to enjoy the money! The moment he died, his best friend and his worst enemy were seen fighting over his beautiful wife. At the end, his worst enemy who happened to be more energetic won the heart of the widow. He married her, claimed his exotic and romantic bedroom. The same worst enemy claimed his lovely and adored children and all he had acquired! Ironically, he had sold his precious soul to the devil in order to gather wealth for his worst enemy!
Surprisingly, so many people are still rushing to the devil for money, fame, 'anointing,' political powers, etc. It is very pathetic! The moment you have all these things, people would gather around you. The moment you lose them, they will all disappear. It is a glimpse of what happens when one dies and is buried. He will go down all alone in the grave. No one can volunteer to follow you! A great question: who do you want to impress? Are you 30 years and above or below rushing to the devil? You have approximately 50 years to be 80. You will only exchange your soul for just 50 years! Can you compare that to eternity? Billions of years! Forever and ever.
Do you really desire godly riches? Jesus Christ advises, “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God), and all these things will be given to you also." Matthew 6:33.
On the other hand, if you are not doing well in life today, you still need to consider your ultimate return home. Why should you lose in this world and lose again in the world to come? It will be so bad for you to suffer on earth and also suffer in hell fire! Have you been sleeping in a house without windows? No ventilation! Have you experienced such in February or March? So hot! Have you trekked a very long distance with the hope of meeting your friend so that you could get something to eat, on reaching there, your friend was nowhere to be found? Have you been jobless, very sick and hungry? All these are nothing compared to the sufferings in hell fire! It is going to be a place of torment, day and night for many years! Forever and ever!
Looking at things critically, the ignorance or distraction has been programmed by the devil in order to please or satisfy the body (dust)!!!! The soul will never die! The soul settles finally in hell fire or in Heaven!!!)
Beloved, it is wiser for you to settle the issue of your home going once and for all by giving your life to Jesus Christ. Now is the Right TIME. Tomorrow may be too late.(2 Corinthians 6:2).
